When I’m out on location working with our canine friends the pace is often very fast and unpredictable.
This means that at any given moment I might need to throw down my camera to re-arrange/coax the pooch I’m working with.
Should the fur-kid I’m shooting suddenly make the exact expression I’m looking for my camera is always at my hip ready to grab and shoot with. This is particularly handy when moving from location to location as both hands are still available to play and interact with my furry subjects, allowing for some down time play without bulky equipment getting in the way.
Thanks to my trusty Spider Holster, my camera stays with me in reach of my fingertips at any given moment.
I keep a handy pouch attached to my holster, full of treats and whistles for encouraging the most heart-warming head tilts you have ever seen. I also squeeze my mobile phone into the pouch so it is in easy reach to document every hilarious behind the scenes moment on instagram stories.
I’ve been a huge fan of Spider Holster products since I first tried a friends holster out back in 2013, after which I immediately bought my own. I’ve said ever since that it’s genuinely one of the best bits of kit that I own.
