The SpiderPro Lens Collar Plate v2 is specifically designed for longer lenses, such as the 70-200mm. This attaches to your lens collar using the built-in allen wrench, and features both left and right Spider pins. By holstering with the Lens Collar Plate, your gear will balance better for a more comfortable experience and there will be less stress on the camera's lens mount. For tripod use, the Lens Collar Plate features an Arca-Swiss style tripod profile, while anti-slip rubber grips and anti-rotation features keep the plate aligned with the lens.

          The collar plate v2 is really good would be nice to have a setup like what’s on the camera body collar which has the mount that screws into the tripod mount on the camera but also has the mount to then screw a tripod plate into the collar without removing it from the body

          Great for certain situations for me

          Once again, there is no perfect solution but I definitely think this is worthy of consideration if you are looking into make the SpiderPro Holster part of your carry system. I currently have this mounted on my original foot that came with my Nikkor Z 70-200 lens. I also have a RRS replacement foot that I use in conjunction with a QD sling. When the 70-200 is used as my secondary lens instead of primary, I use this Lens Collar Plate in conjunction with a SpiderPro Holster on my left hip. Having the Arca-Swiss compatibility is key for me and the way the included Allen key is secured is a well thought out touch as well. Is it as clean and minimal as having a replacement Arca compatible foot? No. Do I also wish that they offered it in black so that it blended in better with the rest of my gear? Sure. But overall, it's a well-designed piece of gear that does the job I need it too.
