Dual Spider Holster

OMG! I'm not sure why I thought a double harness would be better...the harness slammed into the ground and the cameras smacked into each other every time I bent down to assist brides. My neck and back also killed at the end of a shoot. But with the holster, everything is situated firmly and the weight distribution is wonderful. The cameras are easy to access and easy to put away. Each holster has a lock when I'm not using the camera to keep it safe, and an easy enough system that it stays in place while i'm switching back and forth in the moment. Nothing hits the ground and nothing is slamming into each other. I haven't had an issue with no safety strap while holding the cameras as I didn't always use a strap anyways, since it can be so restrictive. With the weight of the canon 24-70 f2 lens something like this set up is a dream...don't hesitiate. The only con i see is the ease of setting it up to get the holsters in the correct spots, and overcoming my fear that the latch on the belt will hold the weight of the cameras. I am thinking of rigging another latch for the day to ease my overactive brain. hahahaha

First Impressions

I liked it. Fairly comfortable. The belt is heavy. Wish the plates didn't take up as much space. Really liked the convenience of having cameras easily accessible. I had to use both hands - one to release the camera; the other to hold the camera. May be that's just me but I wish I could use the same hand to release the lock and grab the camera.

Really Easy Compared to Vest or Strap

I love it. It’s a quick and easy draw off the hip and the weight is so much easier to bear. It’s great to be able to use my hands without the camera getting in the way!

Great Product, Not plus size friendly

As a plus size photographer who has had back surgery, I was so excited to invest and try this holster! I triple checked the measurements and whilst it "technically fits" the Velcro in the waist band is pulled all the way to the end and therefore it's sticking to my hair, a chair if i sit, etc and is just frustrating. Still giving 4 stars because it really is a great product, but hoping to get to a size where it's fully helpful and not a pain in the butt!
