Having owned and used multiple DSLR carrying systems, this Spider, hip belt and holster can only be described as an awesome piece of kit, even similar systems cannot hold a candle to this effortless carry, even my Nikon D850 with accessory battery grip and 70-200 f2.8 lens attached becomes manageable for a full day out, I only wish that I’d invested in it years ago.

Just what I needed
My upper arm and should have been sore and painful for months after carrying around a camera lens system that weighs 5.5lbs.

I shot a 2 hour performance with a D5 on my right hip and Z8 on my left. The Spider system was brilliant! I did practice with it first which was essential. Not only was it easy and fast to use but it really did save my back. Love it!

The upgraded plate is awsome.
I have had spider plates for years and the new upgraded strap and plate is awesome that it fits right into my tripod and the hand strap upgrade is much more comfortable and easy to attach to my camera.

Use it when I have large lens on my camera and am shooting from high places above people. At San Diego Zoo there is a very tall bridge and a camera would be deadly if I accidentally dropped it on people below. I attach it to my camera plate.

Love the hand strap.
Years ago I nearly dropped my camera when I was bumped into while photographing a wedding. Having the hand strap makes a huge difference. Much more secure.
