I love my hybrid holster!

I loved having the flexibility to use my wide angle and long lens while shooting wedding last weekend. It’s professional looking and really functional. I will definitely continue to use it for all big events that I shoot. It’s really well-made and I got excellent customer service. They rushed my order Because of the wedding I had scheduled so close to delivery. It came just in time.

Does exactly what it needs to… and does it well.

I put the dual holster system through a baptism by fire two weeks ago photographing the local Philharmonic Holiday concert. I had a Nikon z6 and Z7ii with a 16-35 and a 70-200. The spider holster took all the weight off my shoulders and allowed me to quickly and easily (it takes a little practice) change camera bodies.

Im looking forward to using these in the field for on location portrait shoots where I often have to put a camera down to direct subjects or manipulate something. Throwing a light stand over my shoulder to move from point A to B will be a breeze now as well.

Configuring the belt yo fit you, specially adding the second camera pad to the belt can take some effort and is a little bit of a challenge, but it is very secure once in place. I’d rather the struggle to set it up once than concerns over it being secure every day.

Buy with confidence.

My Body Thanks You!

I don't know why I waited so long. Between 10 years of my photography business and prior cancer/surgery/treatment that makes pain in my chest/back more pronounced, I'm DELIGHTED I finally took the plunge and followed the advice of so many fellow professional photographers to purchase the Spider system! It has worked like a charm for my recent mitzvah and wedding. (Plus, I started getting a slight neck hump thing that requires PT, and I am sure it was in large part due to the weight of my cameras on my neck). Thank you for a wonderful product.

I Love This Belt

For years I have had 2 separate bodies on separate shoulder straps. After using the Spider dual camera belt (mirrorless and DSLR) I am blown away at the comfort and ease of use. I can know have not only both hands free, but I can also bend over and not have my cameras slinging around. Is it a little pricey? Sure. But is it worth every penny? Absolutely! Especially photographing athletes that are on the move! I’ll never go back to straps again!

Shoulder relief

Bought dual holster to deal with shoulder pain and straps giving me a rash when carrying my Canon 100-400 MM 4.5-5.6 IS lens on my R5. Getting the weight on my hips is much better. I normally just carry the big lens on my right side. For events requiring my R6 and a smaller lens, I put it on the left side. I walk 3-4 miles a day sometimes at the San Diego Zoo. That was not a pleasant experience with a bag and camera straps. It’s much nicer with the cameras at my side. When I do not have a camera on the left I use a camera storage bag that has knots in it and slip it down into the holster slot. I put my small green Camelbak bottle in it that does not leak. Have resorted to cargo shorts since I no longer carry a bag. Need to carry extra batteries.
I also made a tether from my Canon strap and a Husky strap from Home Depot. I use a Peak Design anchor mount attached to the camera plate. Very tough. I only use it on the big lens. When I lean over an Aviary rail, I worry sometimes at 71 that I may drop it 30 feet, a costly accident.
Some concerns: If you hang anything long on this setup, like a water bottle or belt type camera pouch in any location other than the holster area, they either slap you in the butt or bang around in the front. Works fine with the cameras. Well made for sure. Good materials.
