Description

Spider X Camera Holster
The Spider X Holster features a two-position, self-locking design for both security and quick access in any shooting situation. The holster will automatically lock when you pair it with one of our Spider Camera Plates or Spider Pins.

To unlock the holster, lift the lock lever upwards and remove your camera. For even faster access, you can disengage the lock by pressing the lock lever up until it clicks, it will remain unlocked until you push the lever back down into the self-locking position.

Keeping it in the “unlocked” position keeps your camera secure and easily accessible for a quick draw.

✅ QUICK-DRAW: Use the camera holster lock's optional camera quick release position to draw without touching the lock switch. Great for when you need quick access to your cameras!

Amazing exactly what I needed

Amazing Product

After using several different straps over the years I decided to try the spider holster and it is amazing, especially when you're shooting where you need to have both hands free. It's comfortable and I would buy one again in a heartbeat! I mostly shoot band related stuff and nature.

Tether

If you don’t use a tether for added security check that the mounting screw is tight regularly. The mounting screw came loose on my camera and would have fallen, but I had the camera strap installed and balled up in my pocket. That saved me. I don’t like using a tether with the Spider. I figure if I am going to use a tether why bother using the Spider?

Excellent Experience

For my style of shooting, I prefer not to have a strap connected to my camera. The Spider X Holster is a great solution to keep my cameras on me without feeling tethered. With some practice, camera changes are intuitively quick. My setup is minimal and requires that I hang the Spider X Holsters on a leather belt. Since my kit is light (Fujifilm X system), there was no noticeable pull on my belt or pants during sessions and events. The addition of the mirrorless plates to my cameras adds marginal weight gain, although the pin placement is a noticeable change when handling. Having two bodies on my hips makes it more difficult to squeeze through tight situations; however, removing one camera from a holster while maneuvering helps. This system removes weight from my shoulders and neck, which provides noticeable relief on longer days. If you don't mind feeling wider at the hips, I recommend looking into this system.

X Holster Review

I got the X Holster so I could go hands-free on personal trips. I have the full-size holster system for my profession work where I always carry two cameras. The X Holster worked great over the weekend and I'm thinking about getting another one and trying them out together for my professional jobs.
