I wasn't sure about adding a hand grip to my cameras because I didn't want it to interfere with shooting but knew I needed one with the size of my lenses and amount of time spent on sessions. This was easy to apply to my camera body and adjust to fit my hand and is velvety soft. After my first session using it I realized I forgot I was even wearing it. My wrists are grateful.

When I got the kit I had trouble because the screw wouldn't screw into the camera mounting plate. I happen to have a small tap that I could re-tap the threads so it would screw in properly. I have been out using my camera with the Tether Bail only twice sine putting it on, It has work fine, the way I use it as a backup safety to make sure my camera is safe.

I have two large lenses. Having this plate is great with the camera holster but also for use with my tripod or monopod. Because of the rear lip, this will not come loose easily like a standard plate. Bonus, the wrench you need to tighten it with stays inside the plate for easy access and without getting lost in my bag. My only regret is not getting a Spider Camera Holster sooner.

I absolutely love the spider holster - I had something similar when I first started out with my photo biz about 10 years ago but switched to a harness. It absolutely killed my back / shoulders, and I was never able to be hands free. The spider holster gives me so much more freedom!

As a technician for fire alarm systems, I have been using SpiderMonkey products for years because they are very well made and have a long shelf life. For me, the Utility Pouch is the best smartphone bag and I use the Water Bottle Holder for another purpose as a holder for the test sockets for the smoke detectors when I'm traveling with a ladder. During a break or when I don't need them, I simply click off the items and am free again. With the purchase of Ultimate Kit I got a lot of new things that may still find use. I think the price of the kit is reasonable, even though the delivery costs to Germany are high. I can warmly recommend all products.
